The Bartow Municipal Airport and Industrial Park is located on U.S. 17 just North of Bartow, Florida. Access to the facilities is varied as the park boasts a Municipal Airport, four-lane highway frontage and a railroad spur.

The businesses located in the Industrial Park and on the airport in order to serve the needs of aviation, the business community and organizations which utilize the Industrial Park, and the Airport Authority staff had a combined payroll of $48,700,000 in 2007. This money is paid to 1,276 employees, nearly all whom were residents of the Bartow area.

The Airport Authority and businesses in the airport produced nearly 107.1 million dollars in goods and services in 2007. These ranged from selling aircraft fuel to producing mobile homes or providing cold storage. All of the revenue which was attained was then recycled into the local economy by both meeting the necessities of operating a business, such as payrolls and utility bills, and providing for expansion, which then directly incorporated off-airport construction crews and manufacturers.

Bartow Municipal Airport and Industrial Park have been completely self-supporting since its operation was taken over by the Bartow Municipal Airport Development Authority in 1967. Since that time the airport has utilized its aircraft fueling and storage facilities and Industrial Park to obtain the revenues necessary to continue offering a public use airport.
